White Collar "Get Out Of Jail Free" Legislation Moves Forward

As the U.S. Department of Justice ramps up its efforts to hold corporate white collar law breakers to account, legislation is currently weaving its way through Congress that would soften white collar criminal enforcement efforts and, according to a DoJ spokesperson would “create confusion and needless litigation” while “significantly weakening” the current legal standard that has been in place for over 100 years.
