As gender roles blur, reflecting a generational change that also is evident in financial areas, wealthy households are changing as well. The wealthy want to focus on their health and giving back to society, as they take an active approach to life. But some of the more interesting attitudes are towards younger generations, a study of high- and ultra high-net worth individuals shows. Outside of larger societal changes impacting the wealthy younger generations, they are receiving a financial windfall earlier and their parents wonder if they are properly prepared to handle their forthcoming bounty. The financial issue, however, is often lightly discussed, if it is discussed at all.
