The innovation of undetectable radar could change warfare to a degree. On the battlefield, traditional radar systems are used to detect incoming aircraft. The problem is, with radar, the radio waves give off a signal to the enemy, alerting them to the presence of a military operation in the area. This phenomena of radar being both the detector and source of detection in the battlefield may be coming to an end if the Maryland-based U.S. Army Communications, Research, Development and Engineering Center (CRDEC) has anything to say about it.
