Uber Strike Planed For This Weekend, "Scabs" Could Be Targeted

Uber drivers are planning a strike this weekend that will kick off with protests in front of regional offices this Friday at 11:30 AM, with potential retaliation against those “scabs” who operate Uber-affiliated vehicles during the "strike." The strike action comes as driver groups claim the financial benefits they receive are diminishing as Uber takes an increasing share of the rideshare revenue. Technically only employees can "strike" and Uber drivers are generally independent contractors.
