CEO Convicted Over Deadly Mine Explosion

In a precedent-setting case, the chief executive of a major corporation has been convicted for a workplace safety related issue. When a Charleston, West Virginia jury convicted former Massey Energy CEO Don Blankenship of conspiracy to violate federal safety laws it sent a major message, but acquitted Blankenship of more serious charges of lying to investors.
