Tiger Global is about to undergo quite a shakeup, as two of its partners plan to exit.
Firm founder Chase Coleman wrote in a letter to investors Monday that Feroz Dewan, head of public equity investing, and Caleb Watts, also a Tiger partner, will be leaving Tiger Global next month. Dewan plans to start a new investment firm, and Watts will focus on managing his own money.
Feroz Dewan's career
Feroz Dewan joined Tiger Global in 2003 and ran the firm’s hedge fund, which returned 17% net of fees in 2014. He also co-managed one of its two long-only funds with Scott Shleifer, who will take over his roles when he departs.
