After beating the world, most specifically the “evil empire” that was the U.S.S.R., in an arms race, the U.S. may dedicate itself to once again beating Russia, China and Iran on a new battlefield where the balance of power is tipping in a different direction. Speaking at the Fort Meade, Md., home of the National Security Agency and the United States Cyber Command Friday, President Obama expressed frustration about the impotent defense mechanisms in place to stop cyber-hacking incidents.
